Yuri updated fans on her personal channel by sharing photos of her daily life in Jeju alongside a caption stating,
“Jeju, I’ll debut with Hyoryesu and then come right back.”
Having resided on Jeju Island for over three years to find personal balance away from intense celebrity life, her departure marks a meaningful transition as she steps back into high-intensity music promotions.
The return to Seoul is centered around the upcoming debut of “Hyoryesu,” a new trio unit formed alongside fellow Girls’ Generation members Hyoyeon and Sooyoung.
The group name is derived directly from combining the three members’ names.
Currently accelerating their debut preparations, the trio has reportedly begun intensive choreography practice for their debut song “Skibidi” under the guidance of popular dance crew We Dem Boyz.
