The original name was “Ellen Page.” It was not until late in 2020 that Ellen decided to break the barrier of hesitation and come out openly in public. She addressed the public in a note by telling everyone how she was transgender and embraced her personality for who she was, giving an important message of self-love and appreciation to her loyal fans.
She shared on Twitter that she is trans. Further, revealing her pronouns to be he/they and her name would be Elliot. Moreover, she also expressed her gratitude to all the people who supported her in this journey of her life. “Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans; my pronouns are he/they, and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self.”
She later also shared how it was an important decision in life to come out as a transgender and support the community, which faces continuous and deep criticism from people. Since the announcement, Elliot has undergone significant changes in his body in order to undergo the transition from female to male. He has revealed that he had a top surgery that decreased the size of his female breasts and helped him develop a manly-looking chest. When Elliot Page was Ellen, she met her partner, Emma Portner, in the year 2017. The two got on pretty well together and, after around 6 months of dating, tied the know-it in 2017. However, Ellen’s transgender announcement in 2020 was followed by the couple’s divorce in 2021, which was a sad moment for his supporters and fans.
