Still from Deadpool & Wolverine (Marvel)

Get ready for some chimichangas and adamantium claws! Just a day after fans learned Deadpool & Wolverine was finished filming, director Shawn Levy shared exciting details about the movie. In an interview with Total Film, Levy revealed where we’ll find Deadpool at the start of the film.

It turns out, things haven’t exactly been going Wade Wilson’s way. Six years after Deadpool 2, he’s failing at selling cars, struggling to pay rent, and his girlfriend Vanessa has moved on. Looks like Deadpool might be regretting that whole time travel thing to save Vanessa.

But hey, at least this means there’s plenty of room for hilarious moments when Deadpool suits up again! The movie also benefits from the real-world six-year gap since Deadpool 2, so there’s no need to worry about any timeline confusion.

Jackman Returns, But Will This Be His Last Clawed Performance?

Remember when everyone thought Hugh Jackman was done playing Wolverine after Logan in 2017? Well, so did Jackman himself! Then, Ryan Reynolds surprised the world by announcing Jackman’s return in Deadpool 3 (now Deadpool & Wolverine) on social media. Fans were ecstatic but also worried – would this movie take away from Logan’s powerful ending?

The filmmakers promise Deadpool & Wolverine won’t erase what happened in Logan. In fact, Ryan Reynolds himself considers Logan one of the best comic book movies ever made.

Whether this is Jackman’s final Wolverine appearance or not remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: don’t miss this chance to see these two fan favorites together on the big screen!
