The Mentalist is an American crime drama series starring Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, a former psychic medium who uses his exceptional observational skills and knowledge of human behavior to help the California Bureau of Investigation solve complex crimes. Haunted by the murder of his wife and daughter, Jane also pursues the elusive serial killer known as Red John throughout the series.
