Slow Horses

Slow Horses is a British spy thriller series created by Will Smith and based on Mick Herron’s Slough House novels. The series follows a team of disgraced or sidelined MI5 agents who have been assigned to Slough House, a department where failed spies are given tedious work under the abrasive leadership of Jackson Lamb. Despite their low standing within British intelligence, the agents repeatedly become involved in dangerous cases that put them at the center of major national-security threats. The series combines espionage, dark humor, workplace drama and action, and stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb. It premiered on Apple TV+ in 2022.
