Primetime

Primetime is a crime drama inspired by television journalist Chris Hansen’s work on To Catch a Predator. Set in 2006, the film follows Hansen as he pursues a story that could transform television journalism, exploring the risks and ethical complications behind sensational true-crime reporting. Robert Pattinson stars as Hansen in director Lance Oppenheim’s narrative feature debut, with a supporting cast that includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Bokeem Woodbine, and Anna Faris. The film is produced by A24 and Pattinson’s Icki Eneo Arlo, alongside producers including Ari Aster and Fred Berger.
