Synopsis

Pokémon Gold and Silver are the second-generation Pokémon role-playing games developed by Game Freak for the Game Boy Color. Set in the Johto region, the games introduce 100 new Pokémon, a real-time day and night cycle, breeding, held items, Pokémon Eggs and the Steel and Dark types. Players can also travel to the Kanto region after completing the Johto storyline, creating a much larger adventure than previous Pokémon games. Their expanded systems and connected world helped establish features that became staples of the franchise.
