Aggelos 2 is a retro-inspired 2D action-platformer and Metroidvania developed by Wonderboy Bobi and published by PQube and PixelHeart. Building on the original Aggelos, the sequel introduces a dual-realm gameplay system that lets players switch between Angel and Demon forms, each offering unique combat abilities, traversal skills, and puzzle-solving mechanics. Set across the Kingdom of Lumen and its parallel Dark Realm, players explore interconnected maps, battle powerful bosses, unlock new abilities, and uncover hidden secrets in a handcrafted 16-bit-inspired world. Designed around fast-paced combat, precision platforming, and non-linear exploration, Aggelos 2 modernizes classic Metroidvania gameplay while retaining its retro aesthetic.
