Global pop icons BTS have officially brought the North American leg of their massive “ARIRANG” world tour to a triumphant close, drawing a monumental 1.92 million fans across 31 completely sold-out arena and stadium shows.

According to official data from BigHit Music, the five-month leg spanned 12 major cities, including high-profile stops in Chicago, Toronto, El Paso, New York, and Mexico City.

The grand finale concluded in Los Angeles with a four-night stand at SoFi Stadium on September 1, 2, 5, and 6, attracting roughly 282,000 concertgoers locally while streaming live to millions of viewers across 177 countries via Weverse.

The four-night run at SoFi Stadium marked a historic milestone in live music history.

Counting their previous four-night engagement at the venue in 2021, BTS has now performed eight total shows at SoFi Stadium, drawing a cumulative audience of approximately 496,000 attendees.

This accomplishment officially makes BTS the musical act with both the most total performances and the highest cumulative attendance in SoFi Stadium’s history.

The finale concerts also coincided with two member birthdays; fans transformed the stadium into waves of golden and blue lights while singing in unison to celebrate Jungkook’s birthday on September 1 and RM’s upcoming birthday on September 12.

North American Cities Proclaim Official Holidays as Global Tour Prepares for South America

The group’s arrival across North American metropolitan areas generated unprecedented civic honors and local cultural celebrations.

Los Angeles declared September 1 through 8 as “BTS Week” and illuminated LA City Hall in vibrant red lights to mirror the visual aesthetic of the “ARIRANG” album.

In Canada, Toronto proclaimed August 22 and 23 as “BTS Weekend” and temporarily renamed a prominent section of Yonge Street to “BTS Boulevard.”

Similarly, Illinois officially designated August 27 and 28 as “BTS Day in Illinois” for their Chicago dates, while El Paso County in Texas established an official “El Paso BTS Weekend” to commemorate the tour’s economic and cultural impact.

Reflecting on the emotional journey during their final stage remarks, the members expressed gratitude for the unbreakable connection shared with their global fanbase.

The septet addressed the crowd directly, saying,

“Every moment was so happy that it passed in an instant, and we hope to remain connected with fans forever, no matter where we are.”

With the North American leg successfully concluded, BTS will next bring their “ARIRANG” world tour to South America starting October 2 in Bogotá, Colombia, before continuing through major stadium venues in Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
