Blue Box Chapter 242 is set to release very soon, and fans are eagerly waiting to see the continuation of the long-awaited finals match between Taiki and Yusa. After the emotional buildup between Taiki and Chinatsu in the previous chapter, the upcoming installment is expected to focus heavily on the high-stakes badminton showdown and Taiki’s biggest challenge yet.
BLUE BOX CHAPTER 241 RECAP
The previous chapter focused on the buildup to the boys’ singles badminton final, as the tournament atmosphere became increasingly tense ahead of the match scheduled for 6 PM.
Before the final began, Taiki and Chinatsu shared a heartfelt moment together. Taiki thanked her for always being someone he admired and looked up to, admitting that her words and actions had constantly inspired him throughout his journey.
Chinatsu congratulated Taiki on reaching Nationals, while also reminding him that he still needed to defeat Yusa to truly achieve his goal. Even so, she acknowledged that what once felt impossible was now finally within reach.
The chapter also highlighted how much the two have motivated each other over time. Chinatsu admitted that after Yumeka quit basketball, she struggled to continue her early morning practices alone, but Taiki’s presence encouraged her to keep going. Their conversation soon turned playful, with Chinatsu jokingly calling them “thanks-mates,” a term Taiki immediately teased her about.
One of the chapter’s sweetest moments came when Chinatsu asked to hold Taiki’s badminton racket. Standing across the net from him, she quietly told Taiki that she would be cheering for him from the other side during the match.

Taiki, clearly moved by her support, replied that every time he looked at his racket during the final, he would remember that she was rooting for him. The emotional moment quickly turned lighthearted when he laughed at the idea of imagining her face on the racket during the middle of a game.
Meanwhile, Yusa was shown calmly sleeping before the biggest match of the tournament, shocking everyone around him. Haruto reflected on his complicated relationship with Yusa, recalling how distant and emotionally detached he often appeared.
Despite that, Yusa admitted that he rarely felt lonely except when Haruto transferred to Eimei. In a surprising moment, Haruto offered to become Yusa’s regular practice partner again so they could continue improving together.
The chapter ended with the official finals matchup being displayed: Shuji Yusa of Sajikawa versus Taiki Inomata of Eimei. As both players stepped onto the court and the referee called “Love All, Play!”, the long-awaited championship match finally began.
