Dating rumors involving BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’ V have once again become a hot topic online after a recent interview with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker sparked fresh speculation about the pair’s alleged connection.
The renewed discussion began after Parker appeared in a new Behind the Song video with Variety, where he explained how his collaboration with Jennie on the remix of “Dracula” came together.
According to Parker, he was having dinner with a friend who knew Jennie when the friend offered to contact her about the song.
Parker recalled,
“I was having dinner with my friend who knows her and he was like, ‘I can message her right now if you want.’”
He explained that the friend eventually contacted Jennie, who expressed interest in participating in the collaboration.
Although Parker did not identify the friend, some fans quickly connected his comments to V because Parker had previously been seen spending time with the BTS member in Korea.

The identity of Parker’s friend remains unknown, but fans have focused on his previous connection with V.
In November 2024, Parker was photographed having dinner with V while visiting Korea.
This has led some fans to theorize that V could have been the person who contacted Jennie.
