AJ Styles has been portraying a bad guy on WWE television for weeks now. This came after a major loss to LA Knight at WrestleMania 40. However, Styles seems to be enjoying his new role, especially after getting revenge on Knight on SmackDown.
AJ Styles is Phenomenal
At WWE Backlash, Styles challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. While he didn’t win, he had a great match with Rhodes. Despite playing a heel, Styles received strong support from the crowd in France, who chanted “You’re Really Phenomenal” in French.
Recently, Styles broke character on Twitter to acknowledge the fan support.

Despite the loss at Backlash, Styles will continue his run on SmackDown. He’s been added to the King of the Ring tournament and will face Randy Orton in the first round.
