It’s official. After the second round of quarterfinals on America’s Got Talent, the next four acts have been chosen. Sadly, another seven acts are going home.

After a tense quarterfinal where it was hard to predict the results, host Terry Crews announced that Alex Sampson, Sky Elements, and Young Min received enough votes to move on to the semifinal. They will be joined by the impressive AIRFOOTWORKS, who earned the golden buzzer and went straight to the finals.

Sampson, a promising young singer, touched hearts with his song “If You Were My Girl.” Sky Elements returned with their impressive drone performance, standing out against other acts. Young Min amazed with a disappearing act, making him one of the semifinalists.

These four will join the group from last week’s quarterfinals. Unfortunately, Ashlee Montague, Bboy Samuka, Biko’s Biko’s, Brooke Bailey, Legión, NiNi, and Schumacher will not continue.

Two Judges Fought For AIRFOOTWORKS’ Golden Buzzer

Performing to Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial,” the Japanese acrobatic group amazed everyone with a performance that was even better than their audition. They pushed their skills to new heights, leaving the audience in awe with their physical feats. Their direct move to the finals feels like a well-deserved reward for their hard work.

As AIRFOOTWORKS finished, the crowd applauded loudly, and the judges stood up. When Terry Crews asked Simon Cowell for his opinion, Cowell jokingly said, “I am just about to get myself fired,” before reaching for the golden buzzer.

At the same time, Howie Mandel also seemed to press the buzzer, causing some confusion. Despite the mix-up, AIRFOOTWORKS still received the golden buzzer and is now in the running for the $1 million grand prize.

The next four acts to advance have been announced on AGT. You can watch all episodes now on Peacock.
