If you’re a long-time demon slayer fan, you’ve probably seen every possible character die in front of your eyes, and we all know how depressing it is. Tamayo was one of the rare Demons that could reclaim and keep some of her human feelings in her later Demon existence. With her extensive medical expertise, she made it a part of her mission to help injured or ailing people. One of them was Tanjiro Kamado. Tamayo appears in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as a key supporting character. During the Infinity Castle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc, Tamayo teams up with Yushiro to form the Demon Slayer Corps in order to develop a drug that will aid in the defeat of Muzan Kibutsuji. So, will Tamayo die in Demon Slayer against her battle against Muzan Kibutsuji?
Tamayo is a kind, wise, and brilliant person. She was one of the series’ most informed experts on the subject, having spent most of her life researching the underlying science of Demons and Demon Transformation. Despite the normally tumultuous connection between humans and Demons, she treated humanity with remarkable kindness. Instead of killing people for their blood, Tamayo opted to buy blood from willing donors in order to survive. She was adamant about instilling a fear of violence in her assistant, Yushiro, and chastised him frequently for his tendency of punching people. Let’s see if she survives the anime or perishes.
Though little of Tamayo’s talents are revealed, the fact that she was Muzan Kibutsuji’s personal assistant before the Twelve Kizuki was ever established and that he spared her after she attempted to murder him indicates that she is both bold and strong. Tamayo had demonstrated extraordinary abilities in medicine and pharmacology, including the ability to modify her own body such that she could exist on only a minimal amount of human blood. She was also able to turn the terminally sick Yushiro into a Demon without using Muzan’s blood, which she was subsequently able to reverse while healing the guy they met during the Asakusa Arc. Tamayo’s major power, Supernatural Blood, is to extract her blood and perform numerous spells that have diverse effects on her targets.
Tamayo was also able to help Shinobu Kocho saturate her body with lethal Wisteria poison without giving her any disease, a method the Hashira would later employ against Upper-Rank Two, Doma. Tamayo, Anti-Blood Demon Coagulant, devised this drug to stop a Demon’s Blood Demon Art from advancing. After Zenitsu Agatsuma’s struggle with Kaigaku, Yushiro used this medication to treat him. Despite his enormous physical resistances and powers, the effects of the drug would be strong enough to cause him substantial injury if given to him. The drug’s initial step was the identical human-conversion stage as the one administered to Nezuko Kamado.
Will Tamayo Die?
Yes, Tamayo will die in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tamayo, the demon who allied with the demon slayers, is eventually murdered by Muzan, as the war between the demon slayers and Muzan continues. From February 2016 to May 2020, Demon Slayer was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It was also converted as an anime series, which began airing in April 2019 and ended in October 2020 with the release of the Demon Slayer film. English translations of the first 19 collected volumes are now available. Muzan, the first demon, has been faced by the Demon Slayer Corps, led by Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Tamayo, a demon who desires to rid the world of Muzan, aids the demon slayers by inventing a medication that transforms a demon into a human.
The demon slayers stand a tiny chance of slaying Muzan with the use of Tamayo’s medication. Kagaya Ubuyashiki utilizes all of his efforts to devise a scheme to entice Muzan to his side. But, in the process, Kagaya blows himself, his wife, and his children up. Muzan has already healed from the injuries he sustained as a result of Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s scheme in volume 21. The Demon Slayer Corps confronts him head-on, but the majority of them remain trapped inside his ever-shifting castle. Tamayo, who has already been reduced to a head, is the first one he kills personally. Despite the fact that she is about to die, she continues to battle Muzan verbally. Yushiro, Tamayo’s faithful servant, feels Tamayo’s death right away. He loses his cool and rushes into the conflict, which is understandable.
