Will Levi Die in Attack on Titan?
No, Levi will not die in Attack on Titan, but that doesn’t mean he survives the deadly battle of Paradis Island unscathed. He saw his closest friends die in the battle. When we last saw Levi in the anime, he was keeping guard on Zeke Jeager, who they planned to have him eaten by Jaegerists to thwart his plan to sterilize Eldians using the powers of the Founding Titan. Levi had detained Zeke and nearly managed to decapitate him as well. Zeke managed to set off an explosive Thunder spear. Levi gets directly caught in the explosion. Shortly after this, the show went on a break. The second part of season 4 is set to premiere on 9th January 2022.
In the trailer of Attack on Titan Season 4, part 2, it was shown that unconscious Levi is found by Hange. He gains consciousness when Eren tells everyone telepathically that he intends to destroy the world. In his fight against Zeke, he received several scars on the face and lost two fingers from his right hand. He and the rest of the Eldians team up with remaining Marley soldiers to fight against Eren. Eren has now activated Rumbling. Due to rumbling, large-scale destruction is in motion with the help of Wall Titans. Levi, with his battle prowess, manages to significantly damage Eren’s forces, even fulfilling his promise to Erwin of taking down Beast Titan, AKA Zeke Jaeger in the process as well.
Even though he was injured, Levi shows why he is the Strongest Soldier of Humanity. Levi plays an important role in taking down Eren and putting end to the mass genocide that Eren set in motion. Levi opens up the way for Mikasa to severe Eren’s head and put this nightmare to an end. Three years later, Levi is permanently bound by a wheelchair. His fighting days are done, but he is very much alive. Now he just wants to spend the rest of the days peacefully with Gabi, Falco, and Onyankonpon.
