MJF Achievements
MJF has won the CZW Wired Championship and the CZW World Heavyweight Championship once each. In addition, he won the AAW Wrestling Championship and the Dramatic Dream Team Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship once each. He was also a two-time MLW World Middleweight and MLW World Tag Team Champion. In 2020, MJF was placed No. 22 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s best 500 singles wrestlers list.
He has the Dynamite Diamond Ring as a reward for defeating “Hangman” Adam Page in the first-ever Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale, despite the fact that he has yet to win a major title in AEW. In 2020, he won the same ring by defeating Orange Cassidy in the finals.
MJF Early Life:
On March 15, 1996, Maxwell T. Friedman was born into an American Jewish family in the suburbs of Plainview, situated in New York, on Long Island. MJF was a member of the football team at Plainview – Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, where he graduated in 2014. He was given Honorable Mention, All-County, for football during his senior year. He attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, for a short time.
Friedman sang “You Are My Sunshine” on an episode of The Rosie O’Donnell Show in 2001 after his parents submitted a film of him singing it while eating a pear. Friedman (in his character) initially denied the appearance before admitting it, claiming that Rosie O’Donnell was trying to hold on to her fading star and that he “didn’t have the guts” to tell Britney Spears (who also appeared on the same episode) that she “wasn’t going to make it as a singer” after a video of his performance resurfaced in 2019.
