The original Breathing Technique derived from Total Concentration Breathing is the sun breathing technique. Sun Breathing Technique is also known as the Hinokami Kagura or the Fire God’s Dance. In this article, you will find out Who created Sun Breathing Technique? And the history of the Sun Breathing Technique let’s find out.
Because of its versatility, this breathing technique mimics the sun and is thus most effective against demons. It is the most powerful Breathing Technique because it causes a burning sensation that prevents demon regeneration. It is not only the most powerful breathing technique but also the parent breathing technique to all others. The foundation of all breathing techniques is Sun Breathing. Furthermore, it is the only Breathing Technique capable of instantly and severely injuring Muzan and countering Muzan’s powers.
Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, also known as “Blade of Demon Destruction,” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by him. Tanjiro Kamado, a teen who aspires to be a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko transforms into a demon, is the main character. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with chapters collected in twenty-three tankbon volumes. It was simultaneously released in English by Viz Media and in Japanese by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.
Who created Sun Breathing Technique?
Yoriichi Tsugikini created Sun Breathing and he was a legendary Sengoku period swordsman. As a Demon Slayer, he is regarded as the most powerful in the organization’s history, thanks to the combination of his breathing technique, Demon Slayer Mark, and ability to see the Transparent World.
Sun Breathing History in Demon Slayer’s
Tsugikini, the technique’s creator, is at the center of the story. Yoruichi was the younger twin, and despite having a less than ideal upbringing, he learned swordsmanship alongside his brother. His mother made the Hanafuda earrings as a charm for him because of his bleak future and birthmark.
However, because he could see into the transparent world, his perception of the world differed from that of ordinary people. As a result, his fighting style was centered on his opponents’ bone disposition, muscle contraction, and blood flow. When he joined the Demon Slayer Corps, he used this to develop the Sun Breathing Technique and its derivatives.
However, his brother remained dissatisfied as he learned the Moon Breathing Technique, which was inferior to the Sun Breathing Technique. So, to advance his swordsmanship, he agreed to transform into a demon. This, combined with his failure to eliminate Muzan and his decision to let Tamayo go, had serious consequences. Yoriichi was expelled from the Demon Slayer Corps as a result of this.
So he went to see his friend Sumiyoshi. This is where he gave the Hanafuda earrings and the Fire God Dance to his friend as a farewell gift. As a result, the Kamado family passed down the Fire God Dance version of the Sun Breathing Technique. This was done to honor Yoriichi, the first person to use the Sun Breathing Technique.

Demon Slayer users of the entire Sun Breathing Technique.
Four people use the Sun Breathing Technique. Only the first and last users, however, used them in actual combat against Demons. Yoriichi Tsugikini is the original user and creator. Tanjuro Kamado, Tanjiro’s father, was the second user, and Sumiyoshi was the third. Tanjiro Kamado is the final user of the Sun Breathing Technique.
Sun Breathing vs. Moon Breathing
The Sun Breathing Technique, as previously stated, is the original breathing technique. All other techniques are derivations of it that arose as a result of deficiencies in swordsmen. The moon’s reflection in the sun inspired the Moon Breathing Technique. As a result, the Moon Breathing Technique only reflects a portion of the original’s power.
Even though the Moon breathing technique had to evolve, it remained inferior to the Sun breathing technique. This is because it does not have the same cauterizing effect and attacks as the Sun Breathing Technique.
