In 2009, Zombieland came off as a surprise from Sony Pictures. A post-apocalyptic zombie comedy that worked perfectly and clicked with the audience all over again. Ruben Fleischer’s theatrical debut, paired with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick’s writing, grossed the movie with over $60.8 million in just 17 days. Since then, the movie claimed its spot over the highest-grossing zombie films. Thus, surpassing Zack Snyder’s Dawn of The Dead. It is a gem like that shouldn’t meddle with, especially in a rush to come up with a sequel. Keeping that in mind, Ruben came with a sequel after almost 10 long years. Plus, the result was just another successful movie.
The Zombieland Saga follows a set of two movies. An introverted geeky college kid surviving a zombie apocalypse with his own set of rules meeting strangers on his way. Thus, taking an extended road trip across the Southwestern United States. Each of them hopes to find a sanctuary away from the flesh-eating zombies and reunite with their loved ones. Columbus, a geeky college kid, makes his way to Ohio, hoping to find his parents. On his way, he finds new friends in the form of very aggressive Tallahassee and sisters Wichita and Little Rock. Zombieland (2009) stars Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus. The geeky college kid lived in an apartment by himself, away from the world, until the zombie virus strikes in. He has his own set of rules to counter the zombies when met with one. Woody Harrelson joins him as Tallahassee, Columbus’ trusted ally. He despises zombies and enjoys killing each one of them. Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin join in as sisters Wichita and Little Rock, the survivors of the apocalypse.
Bill Murray and Amber Heard make guest appearances in the film. Bill Murray plays a fictionalized version of himself in the film. On the other hand, Amber Heard comes of Columbus’ neighbor living in apartment 406, eventually becoming a zombie and Columbus’ first kill.

Zombieland: Double Tap continues the journey of Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock 10 years from the first time they met each other. Since then, there have been several developments in their relationships. As Columbus and Wichita struggle with their love life, Tallahasse looks forward to being a good father figure towards Little Rock.

The Cast For Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin all return as the main cast of the film to reprise their roles. The new cast members joining the film are Rosario Dawson as Nevada, owner of an Elvis-themed motel. Joining Rosario Dawson is Zoey Deutch as Madison, a dumb blonde. Avan Jogia joins in as Berkeley. A pacifist, whom Little Rock is impressed with and picks up on a journey to Babylon.
Lastly, Luke Wilson as Albuquerque and Thomas Middleditch as Flagstaff. Alburquerque is a mirrored personality of Tallahassee, whereas Flagstaff is a mirrored personality of Columbus having his own set of commandments for surviving the apocalypse.
