Masashi Kishimoto has already gone down as one of the biggest mangakas ever. You may recognize him from his most popular work, Naruto. Masashi Kishimoto ended Naruto back in 2014, and he promised to come out with yet another manga immediately.

Masashi Kishimoto’s New Manga: When Does It Come Out?

It’s been nearly four years since Naruto ended, and we still have no news on the new manga that Kishimoto has planned. Earlier this year, it was announced that Masashi Kishimoto would be returning to Weekly Shounen Jump this year, and that got all of us really excited. However, it is October, and we still have no idea when it is being published in Weekly Shounen Jump. The Editor in Chief of Weekly Shounen Jump spoke to Anime News Network, and he said Masashi Kishimoto is planning to return this year.

According to him, Kishimoto will not be publishing just a One-shot this year. Rather, he’s coming out with a full manga, and that has got me really excited. The serialization for the manga was said to be in progress earlier this month. We don’t know how far it has come since then, but I assume that it has come very far. We have no informed on his team so far, but we will get to know about the staff once it debuts.

After a very successful run in Shounen Jump with Naruto, which ran from 1999 to 2014, Kishimoto is now looking to draw a sci-fi manga, which is apparently one of his favorite genres. He previewed a few panels at Jump Festa 2016. From what we’ve heard, the manga will indeed come out this year. Had it been delayed, we probably would’ve known by now.

Since 2018 is nearly over, I think it is going to be out in December. When Eden’s Zero came out, we heard about it at least a month prior to the release. If the manga were to come out in November, we would’ve known by now, so I guess that we’re getting the manga in December 2018. That’s all we know about this manga so far. When we do get some more updates, we’ll let you know.
