When Will Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Release? All About it

With season 1 of chapter 3 already inching towards its conclusion, fans of Fortnite are already buzzing for the arrival of season 2. That happens to be the thing we are also going to talk about in this article. So with season 1 approaching towards the finale (if there is any finale planned), when is Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 releasing? With beta testing of patches already undergoing for the next season.

Initially released in 2017, Fortnite is an open-world game where 100 players each constitute a certain game where all they have to do is survive. The last man standing is ultimately the winner of the game. With several modes- paid and unpaid both, the game gives players the liberty to dress up and weaponize their in-game characters and play freely and accordingly. This is also the primary factor why this game has gathered the audience it has gathered.

Fortnite has been a revelation in the online gaming industry. Epic Games, the creating studio of this famous game which is more of a phenomenon among the millennials, are always on their toes regarding the developments in the game with each season and each chapter.

When Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 will be released?

Okay so moving on to our main question is When is Fortnite chapter 3 season 2  releasing. As most of the Fortnite fans already know that current ongoing season is supposed to be ending in the 2nd week of March 2022. So it is obvious that season 2 will come around the start of week 3 or some date around it.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1

Initially rumored to be around March 18 or March 19, we can confirm that season 2 is coming out on March 20. Now hold on. Yes, there is no official announcement as of yet. But the sources which have been providing correct updates in past can confirm that March 20 2022 is the date when season 2 of chapter 3 of our beloved game Fortnite is coming among us.

Fortnite Season 1 & 2 and further developments

Turning our attention to season 1, right now it does not look like our friends at Epic studio have any finale planned for season 1. So it might be a bit quiet when moving to season 2. But the expected tweaks and new upgrades which are rumored for season 2 (based on early testings and all) are too big to be not excited for. So let us discuss what we know about the upcoming season 2, as of now.

Season 2 –  What to expect of it?

So for starters, the rocket event from season 1 will be continued. And the war between the Sevens and the Imagined order will only heat up in the upcoming season.

Yup.! You can be Spiderman in Fortnite.

Now talking about the upgrades, there is a lot to get excited for. The players are going to be blessed with the integration of thermal weapons in the form of Mythic Thermal AR. Also, there are a lot of tactical warfares to be introduced in season 2 with tactical sprinting, tactical overshield upgrade, and tank vehicles also making inroads (pun intended!)

Also as hinted by early beta testers, it seems that season 2 will also have some sort of dark tower to add to the already wide map. And while we are on this subject, there are all sorts of upgrades on the map for season 2. Of course, fans would need more room to drive the new tanks and new drivable vehicles.

With a new starter pack, there are special themes too which are expected to be seen in the next season. The prominent special mode themes would be either Star Wars based or Assasins Creed based. Keep in mind that these are just mere speculations until and unless official announcements regarding the same are made. But till then, we have enough to ponder about and get excited about. For now, let us wait for March 20.

Fortnite – Why it is so popular?

Fortnite, unlike older versions of video games, has risen the ranks of popularity with such an effect that as of today, the game is one of the few cross-platform games; from mobile phones in our hands to the consoles attached to our screens. The reception of Fortnite has given other gaming studios an incentive to release their games as cross-platform games. Something that they never did in the past.

There is a common consensus about the reasons why Fortnite has become so popular, to the extent that a clip from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released within the game and Marshmello hosted a live concert inside the game that was attended by 10 million people in-game and watched by 45 million people worldwide on YouTube.

The game’s flexibility and the liberty provided to the players is the primary reason why it has generated such cut-throat popularity in the digital space. Each time you log in to play the game, there is a new way to play the game. And to include the free-of-cost (apart from limited upgrades and collectibles) updates and upgrades for the players is a positive gesture. The money game does not work in this game.

The game, with the liberty and flexibility, has created a space where pop culture and digital culture intersects.
