The fifth season of the Flash isn’t too far away from release. The show finished sitting the fourth season earlier this year in May. The release date for the fifth season was confirmed by CW. With the new season come fiercer enemies, and in season give Barry Allen will be going up against Cicada. The new villain is trying to take down anyone who has previously been saved by the Flash.
It doesn’t look that season five will be the best time for Barry. In the latest trailer, we saw that Barry was asking Nora why did she come to the past. The trailer quickly shifts to Joe West, who is sitting in his house and Cicada is there as well. Joe West has been saved many times by Flash, and his life is certainly in danger.
In the trailer, we also see Barry asking his daughter about his own whereabouts in the future. However, Nora just looked at him with a gloomy face, which hints that things might actually not be well in the future; this may be the reason why Nora had to come from the so that Barry could prevent bad stuff from happening in the future.
Todd Helbing, who is the executive producer of the show explained the significance of new characters. He said, “We always like to introduce characters and sort of highlight areas that come from the comics. We don’t want to be beholden exactly to them, so we can change the stories as we see fit and tell it for a television show.”
He further added, “With [Nora], it’s the time that she comes from and what she did. She makes this sort of big mistake at the end of the episode – you see the concern of what she’s done, and Barry certainly learned his lessons from time travel. So now it’s going to be interesting to put him on the different side of the problem and see how he can help her fix it.”
The fifth season of The Flash will start on October 9. The new season will have 23 episodes as well. So look forward to another brilliant season of the Flash. That’s all from me. We will keep you updated on the latest news regarding Flash season 5. So, make sure to check our website.
