The show takes place in a fictional Louisiana town when a young girl arrives after her father relocated for work. And it just turns out that the boring Louisiana town is just quite interesting because it’s haunted by a disappeared camper. When the girl finds a portal, she discovers that she can travel in time, and her boring life just gets more interesting! Now let’s take a look at what season 3 might look like!
Secrets of Sulphur Springs Season 2 Finale Recap
Griffin and Harper are still trapped in a cop car back in 1990, and Griffin is irritated because he just heard his father confess to being the one who killed Savannah. Harper tells Griffin that they still don’t know what’s up with her, and they continue to smash windows in the hopes of attracting the attention of a cop. Harper deceives him into letting her out to use the restroom, locking Griffin inside.
Currently, Wyatt and Zoey hear a noise coming from Ben’s recently boarded-up secret room. It sounds like music, and Zoey pulls a piece of plywood away, revealing that the tape recorder is turned on despite the fact that it isn’t plugged in. It’s playing the song Savannah performed in the talent show at Camp Tremont, the same one that scared Ben when he first heard it after discovering the secret room with Griffin.
Ben & Sarah
Sarah and Ben are talking by the door, and Sarah thinks Griffin has returned to Chicago, where they used to live. Zoey and Wyatt interrupt their conversation by informing them of the music playing in the secret room and claiming it was a ghost. Ben’s eyes change noticeably when Wyatt sings a part of the song. He lies, telling them Griffin most likely recorded it as a scare tactic. Wyatt is perplexed as Zoey pulls him away, claiming they were just fooling around.
Jess is searching her room for clues as to where she may have gone at Harper’s house, and Topher is assisting her. Jess discovers 1990s-style clothing in a bag under the bed, as well as the camp talent show roster in her own handwriting in the pocket of a blouse. She asks Topher if Harper has been rummaging around a box in the garage, who recalls Harper looking for a photo of their father not long ago. He has a flash of insight and believes he knows where she is.
Cop Trouble
A police officer has waited for Harper outside a bathroom in The Tremont in the past. After knocking and receiving no response, he opens the door to find the bathroom empty and a window open. Harper unlocks the police car door, releasing Griffin, and the two flee. They go to Jess’ cabin, thinking she might know something, and tell her Bennet’s father has taken him back to Chicago. She’s furious with him and refuses to speak to them about it, claiming that he blamed her for Savannah’s disappearance.
Griffin and Harper come up with a new plan after failing to get useful information from Jess. What if Savannah discovered the bunker in the hotel’s basement and entered through the hatch? They go to The Tremont’s basement and discover that, just like in the present, they can see the bunker through the shelves. Bennet knows about the portal and keeps it hidden because his overprotective father might have tried to destroy it, according to Harper. They make their way to the bunker.
Windy Days
On a very windy day, Harper and Griffin emerge from the portal. They initially believed they were still in 1990, but then they noticed one of the Camp Tremont cabins is being built and has a sign stating that it will open in 1960. They’ve traveled back in time 30 years and arrive at The Tremont to find it deserted. As he’s boarding up the windows, a carpenter approaches them and informs them that the hotel has been evacuated due to an impending storm, and they must return home. Harper notices a shadow through a window before they leave and rushes inside the hotel.
Savannah has entered! Harper tries desperately to persuade her that she has actually traveled back in time, demonstrating how the telephone on the desk and even the guestbook seem different. She claims that because Bennet’s father is wealthy, he could have pulled off an elaborate prank like this. When Ben pulls up to her front porch in the present, Jess is looking through family photos. Topher runs inside to get something for the K9’s after telling Jess that the cops require a piece of Harper’s clothing for the dogs to sniff, leaving them alone. Sarah finds out that Ben and Savannah are at camp together. Jess admits that she’s been thinking a lot about Savannah’s disappearance. She inquires, “What really happened that night, Ben?”

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
Sarah calls her mother from The Tremont, presumably to tell her that she and the kids are returning to Chicago as soon as they find Griffin. The line cuts out and becomes a high-pitched noise while you’re on the phone. Sarah notices that the corners of the mirror are fogged up, and a handwritten word appears. “Stay.” The wind has picked up a lot, so Harper and Griffin are sprinting to the hatch with Savannah in tow. As Savannah trips, Harper begins to climb through the hatch. Griffin notices her standing up and moving forward, so he follows her through the hatch.
They hear Savannah calling from the foot of the stairs, but the wind blows a tree down on top of the hatch, blocking Savannah’s passage. What an unexpected ending! Before the credits roll, there are a few clips from episode nine. The quick flashes this time include Griffin attempting to open the gate with the tree on top, Harper and Griffin staring up records for proof of Savannah in 1960, Sarah attempting to grab Zoey and Wyatt upon seeing signs that The Tremont is haunted, and Harper receiving a call from Griffin as he informs her that his family is relocating to Chicago.
Cast
Griffin Campbell is played by Preston Oliver, and Harper Dunn is played by Kyliegh Curran. Savannah Dillon, who supposedly vanished thirty years ago, is played by Elle Graham. Madeleine McGraw (as Zoey Campbell, Griffin’s kid sister), Landon Gordon (as Wyatt Campbell, Griffin’s kid brother). Kelly Frye (as Sarah Campbell, Griffin’s mom), Josh Braaten (as Ben Campbell, Griffin’s dad). Lastly, Bryant Tardy (as Topher ), and Diandra Lyle (as Diandra Lyle) round out the cast (as Jess Dunn).
Because the show includes alternate realities, we also get to see Jake Melrose and Izabela Rose as Ben and Jess when they were younger. Many of the actors will likely reprise their roles if the show is renewed for a second season. If an upcoming storyline introduces new characters, we might see some new cast members join the show.
