What We Do in the Shadows S3 E10 Recap
Episode 10 saw the vampires mourn and meet their humane interiors. The episode started with them mourning Colin. They commission a group portrait of Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Guillermo, the Guide, Nadja’s ghost, the Baron, the Sire, and the hellhound to mourn him. Guillermo tries to tell them to contend with their feelings and grief more healthily. However, the vampires are not able to cope with their grief in any sort of healthy manner. Guillermo then learns that Nandor has decided to leave Staten Island, travel the world, and make a fresh start.
Nadja & Laszlow Pack for London
Guillermo tries to seek help from Nadja, but she’s got her own bag of troubles now. Her problem involves an invite from the Supreme Vampiric Council. The council has invited her to London, but she can’t go. Although she wants to go to England, Laszlow’s vow to never go back is a problem. Apparently, Laszlow’s vow happened after a prestigious high-society group called the Sherwood Club expelled him. However, that’s only a part of the whole truth. We later learn from Laszlow that the reason for his expelling was Nadja. As it turns out, the club had expelled him because he fell for Nadja. The club saw Nadja as someone having a low social standing. However, Laszlow changes his mind about his vow when he realizes Nadja could join the Supreme Vampiric Council. This will also catapult their status to the top of the social hierarchy.
Guillermo is upset and angry with Nandor, and the two soon start fighting. However, Nandor reveals that this was all a test. Nandor then tells offers to accompany him on his trip. He then also tells him that when they reach his ancestral homeland, he’ll make Guillermo a vampire. Delighted, Guillermo accepts the offer and starts prepping to leave. Meanwhile, Nadja and Laszlo also pack up.
However, in a twist, Laszlo locks Guillermo in his own coffin beside the coffin of Nadja. The two coffins leave for London aboard a ship. Meanwhile, Nandor waits for Guillermo at the station but has to depart alone when he doesn’t turn up. Laszlo writes in a letter to Nadja, his reason for staying back. He says that he has discovered a baby boy resembling Colin has burst out of Colin’s corpse.
