The Entertainment District arc ended with the death of demon siblings who haunted the streets of the flamboyant city. Although killing an Upper Moon after 112 years was a great deal, Sanemi wasn’t wrong when he reminded that Gyutaro was the weakest of them. The fact that there are six other demons far superior to them already gives me chills. In the final seconds, we saw Akaza being summoned to the Infinity Castle. It seems Muzan Kibutsuji is ready to make the demon slayers pay for messing with the Upper Moons. What to expect from the upcoming Swordsmith Village arc in Demon Slayer?
The news of Upper Moon 6’s death reignites the flames of hope within Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Despite his awful health condition, he is determined to kill Muzan within this generation. While coughing out blood, he says that Muzan is the devil that taints their family. Does that mean Muzan is from the Ubuyashiki family? We bring you everything to know about the upcoming Swordsmith Village arc. The article contains spoilers from the manga, so read accordingly.
What Will The Demon Slayers Do Next?
With Rengoku’s death and Tengen’s retirement, the strength of the demon-slaying corps has been hugely affected. Moreover, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke aren’t still in the state to replace a Hashiro. Thus, to recover from this loss, the Hashiras must train the new generation of Demon Slayers and make them battle-ready. Each Hashira has their own regions of expertise, so training separately under each Hashira will take their swordsmanship skill to a whole new dimension.

Zenitsu Tanjiro and Inosuke
Well, they mustn’t hurry since Gyutaro left them in an awful state, and resuming training right away may worsen their physical condition. Meanwhile, Kagaya Ubuyashiki has just a few days left to live, and I think he is the only one who can lure Muzan into a trap. On the other hand, Tanjiro had sent a sample of Gyataro’s blood to Tamayo, and I am confident that she would come up with an anti-demon serum.

Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc PV & Release Date
The Demon Slayer franchise has already confirmed that Season 3 is under production. A short PV has also been released featuring visuals of Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, thereby hinting that the Wind and Love Hashiras will be playing important roles in the upcoming arc. The release date has not been revealed yet, but fans are expecting the anime to come back around Winter 2023. We will update the article as soon as an official premiere date is revealed.
What to Expect from Swordsmith Village arc?
In the upcoming arc, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu will primarily focus on recovering from their injuries. Their injuries are far worse than anything they had incurred before. Tanjiro’s condition is more serious compared to the rest, so he will be under bed rest while the others resume their mission. Apart from that, Tanjiro has chipped his sword yet again, so he must take it to his swordsmith for repair. Haganezuka can’t come to deliver him every time, so he will decide to visit the swordsmith village himself.

Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer Season 3
Meanwhile, Muzan Kibutsuji will come up with a plan to shake the very foundation of the demon-slaying corps. Now, what’s better than putting a stop to the production of Nichirin swords, the only blade that can pierce the demons? Thus, he will send at least two Upper Moon Demons to destroy the village and kill all the swordsmiths. However, easier said than done. The demon slayers have been extra cautious about the exact location of the swordsmith village, and it won’t be easy even for the strongest demons to infiltrate it. Moreover, the arc will also tell us about Nezuko’s fate. We already know that Nezuko isn’t like other demons. But, can Tamayo make her resistant to sunlight? If that really happens, Muzan will come after ger to gain the same ability.
