We have seen a different kind of determination in Luffy’s eyes towards his goal. Everyone in Straw hats carries a unique goal and tries their best to achieve that, and the same goes for the musician and secondary swordsman of Straw Hats, Brook. Brook may not be the strongest character in the anime, but his sufferings and his loyalty towards his crew are exceptional and worth talking about. So today, we have decided to dedicate this whole article to Brook. So without wasting any time, let’s get started.
Brook was the ninth member of the crew who joined after the Thriller Bark arc. He used to be the captain of Rumbar Pirates, but after the death of his crewmates, he survived alone by some means and waited for certain someone with whom he could achieve his ultimate goal. How did he survive? Did He Ate Devil Fruit? There are many questions we have in mind related to him. So let’s get back to our main topic.
What Devil Fruit Did Brook Eat? Brook’s Dark Past Explained:
Now let’s talk about How Brook led to joining Straw Hats and how did he survived in Thriller Bark. What was his devil fruit? Let’s find out.
Brook ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi, which allows him to return to life once after his/her death. As Rumbar Pirates enter the Thriller Bark, they all die included Brook. Brook’s body got spoiled up, but due to his Devil Fruit power, he was resurrected in Skeleton form. From then, he was waiting for someone to hold him in Thriller Bark, but due to his Horror face, No one ever came near him.
When Mugiwaras entered the scene, They befriended Brook, and he fought alongside them to Ex-Warlord Gecko Moria’s crew. He defeated many powerful pirates and saved Mugiwaras many times. At the end of Thriller Bark, Luffy firmly asked Brook to join his crew which he couldn’t resist. If we talk about his ultimate aim, He wants to get reunited with his old friend, Laboon which lives near the red wall of the grand line under the care of an ex-Roger’s Pirate Doctor, Crocus.
Brook In Whole Cake Island: The Souvenir Of An Yonko:
Brook is the major MVP of Whole Cake Island Arc. He is the one who stole red-Poneglyphs blueprints from the Emperor of the Sea, Big Mom. He was the one who broke Mother Carmel’s Photo Frame, which was very dear to Big Mom. This led Big Mom to a heavy syndrome, and she fell on the ground. This incident helped Straw Hats as well as Germa 66 to run from the Island. Everyone escaped from Whole Cake Island except Luffy, who got engaged in a fierce fight with one of the Commander of the Charlotte Family, Katakuri, in Mirror World. The fight lasts for 22 episodes resulted in Luffy’s victory, and he proceeded with his Journey to Wano country.
