1. “Energetic” by Wanna One

Are you in Love with Korean boy bands? If yes, then Wanna One will make your heart skip a beat. The band was formed by CJ&M. Also, the group members of Wanna One are  Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-Hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-Hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-Woon. The group met on the second season of Produce 101. Moreover, Park Ji-Hoon was an already known name in the industry. He started as a child actor and starred in dramas like “Kimchi cheese smile” and “The King and I.”

The song “Energetic” has an interesting back story to it. Moreover, the song was selected as a debut title track by the audience. This happened on the reality show “Wanna One Go.” Later, “Energetic” was announced as the debut track of Wanna one group. But in the end, the boy band disbanded in 2019. 2. “Eclipse” by LOONA

LOONA is a 12 member girl group. The genres they perform on are K-pop and J-pop. Earlier, the group was assembled by Blueberry Creative and introduced to the public in a pre-debut project. The members of LOONA are Hee-Jin, Hyun-Jin, Ha-Seul, Yeo-Jin, ViVi, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, Olivia Hye. Also, the girl group has become very famous over time. Moreover, they have won many awards like Focus Award, Popularity Award, Female idol rising star award, Next Generation award, Female Rookie Idol Award. Recently, LOONA was also nominated for the Hot Trend Female Idol Group award. Furthermore, they won  Seoul Mayor Award this year.

4. “Eclipse” by GOT7

Another long-standing boy band in the industry is GOT7. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment and had 7 members. The artists of GOT7 are Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Also, the group debuted with its first extended play, “Got it” in 2014. Finally, after their debut, GOT7 signed a contract with a Japanese talent company, SONY Music Entertainment. Also, they got a chance to perform in front of 9000 fans in Japan.


“Eclipse” is a music track in the album “Spinning Top.” The album was released in 2019 by JYP Entertainment and Dreamus company. The album sold  314,948 units, becoming the 18th best-selling album in South Korea. Also, the album ranked No. 1 on the Gaon Album Chart, and on the US World Albums chart, it ranked No. 5. 5. “Eung Eung” by Apink

“Eung Eung” is an EP from the album “Percent.” The album was released in the year 2019 by Play M Entertainment. Also, the “Percent” is the eighth EP by the South Korean girl group. The first-ever album produced by the Apink was “Seven Springs of Apink.” After the release of their second extended play, “Snow Pink” on November 22, 2011, Apink got recognition by many people. This followed the fame and production of many more albums. The first award won by Apink was the “Female Rookie Award” at Mnet Asian Music Awards 2011.


Originally Apink has 7 members, Park Cho-Rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jeong Eun-Ji, Son Na-Eun, Kim Nam-Joo and Oh Ha-young, and  Hong Yoo-Kyung. But due to her studies, Hong Yoo-Kyung took a leave from the group.

6. “EOEO” by Uniq

Uniq is unique because, unlike other K-pop groups, it is a Chinese-South Korean boy group. The group was assembled by  Yuehua Entertainment. The Chinese entertainment company found the members in 2014. The first album produced by the group was “Falling in love.” Also, Uniq performed the album in China as well as South Korea. The boy group consists of 5 members,  Zhou Yixuan, Kim Sung-Joo, Li Wenhan, Cho Seung-Youn, and Wang Yibo.

After being inactive for a while, Uniq’s comeback was announced by Yuehua Entertainment announced in 2015. The group made their comeback with a mini-album, “EOEO.” The album has two songs. “EOEO” title track, and “Listen to me.” Uniq was awarded “Best New Artist” at KU Music Asian Music Awards’ for their music album. Moreover, the official music video for “EOEO” was released on April 24, 2015. After the release of the video “EOEO” ranked No. 3 on  YinYueTai Weekly MV Chart.

7. The “Expectation” by Girl’s Day

Long-time standing South Korean Girl’s group has been entertaining fans since 2010. Dream T Entertainment discovered Girl’s Day in 2010. Also, the group, even though it has a strong bond between members, suffered the loss of 3 members. Jisun and Jiin left the group in 2010. Also, Jihae decided to leave the group in 2012. After the departure of Jihae, the 4 member girl group went on and released the album “Expectation” on March 14, 2013. This K-pop song that starts with E was the stepping stone for Girl’s Day.

The title track of the album “Expectation” became a big success. Also, the song ranked in the 36th position on Melon’s digital annual chart. Moreover, the song was such a hit with fans that Girl’s Day was awarded the ‘Long-Run Song of the Year award. They accepted the award at the third Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards event. 8. Excuse me by AOA

AOA is a South Korean girl group. The band was formed in the year 2012 by FNC Entertainment. Currently, AOA consist of only three members,  Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun, and Chanmi. Even though originally the group had 8 members. In the period from 2016 to 2020, Youkyung, Choa, Mina, Jimin, and Yuna left the group for different reasons. AOA made its debut with the single album “Angel’s Story” in 2012. Also, the group was famous by the name of 7+1 because Youkyung, who was listed as a half-angel, would only be present when the group did promotions together.


“Angel’s Knock” was the first Korean full-length album of AOA. There are two title tracks in the album “Excuse Me” and “Bing Bing.” Both the tracks got an amazing response from the listeners. But the “Excuse me” song ranked on Gaon Album Chart at 22nd position. Also, the girl group won three awards during the promotions of the album. Later, the group announced that they would have a Korean concert. The biggest ever hits that AOA has produced are “Miniskirt”, “Short Hair”, “Like a Cat”, “Heart Attack”, “Give Me the Love”, “Good Luck”, “Excuse Me” and “Bingle Bangle.”

9. Every Night by EXID

The song “Every Night was recorded in 2012 by the girl group EXID. The song ranked 43rd on Gaon Singles Chart and 100th on Gaon’s Monthly Single Chart. Member EL is the writer. Similar to many other South Korean girl groups, EXID originally had eight members. But the group member in 2021 is Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin, and Jeonghwa. “Whoz that girl” album was appreciated but did not get enough recognition. Later, the single “Up&Down” lead to EXID popularity. After four months of release, the song ranked No. 1 on Gaon Singles Chart.

The first-ever studio album created by EXID is “Street.” Also, EXID recorded and released the album in 2016. Because of many members leaving, the group had to halt releases in Korea. But albums like “BLESSED” and “Trouble” were released in Japan in 2020 and 2019. The group became so famous that they had their own reality shows, “EXIS’s showtime” and “Made in EXID.” Since its debut, EXID has won 22 music program awards. Also, in 2015 the group won “M! Countdown” for the single “Up&Down.”

10. Empty by Winner

Looking for a boy band to fall in Love with? Don’t look anymore. Winner is an amazing group with numerous hits. The group has secured an international fanbase. The members of the K-pop group are  Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, and Seungyoon. The Winner group was formed by YG Entertainment in 2013. The entertainment company discovered the members through the Mnet program “WIN: Who Is Next.” The Winner made their debut on August 17, 2014. The first album they produced was “2014 S/S.” Even though the band is known for four members, originally, Winner had a fifth member. In 2016, the fifth member Taehyun left the group for his well-being.


Winner topped Gaon Album Chart for both “Empty” and “2014S/S” albums. Also, in 2019 they were announced to be the fastest-growing Korean band. Moreover, “2014S/S” albums topped the Billboard World Album Chart. Listen to these K-pop songs that start with E.

11. Echo by Seven o’clock

“Echo” is the song from the Seven o’clock debut album “Butterfly Effect.” The album “Butterfly Effect” was released in on March 16, 2017. Also, the lead single song “Echo” was also released on the same date. The South Korean boy group was formed by Staro Entertainment and KDH Entertainment. The members Hangyeom, Hyun, 2 Soul, Jeonggyu, Taeyoung, Andy, Rui, and Vaan, came together in the year 2017. After producing 5 albums, “Butterfly Effect”, “#7”, “Get Away”, “White Night”, and “Highway” the Seven o’clock announced their disbandment. But the official disbandment of the members was recorded on March 2, 2021.

12. Evergreen by TVXQ

TVXQ recorded “Evergreen” in 2007. The song is part of the 2007 Winter SM Town – Only Love album. Also, TVXQ is not a group but a duo of  U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin. Moreover, the duo is also known by the name Tohoshinki and DBSK. SM Entertainment formed TVXQ in 2003. Originally the band was comprised of five members,  U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu. TVXQ made its debut with the single “Hug” in 2004.
