The Virginia jury announced on JUNE 1 that Johnny Depp won the Defamation Case.
Amber Heard will have to pay Johnny Depp $10 million in damages and $5 million in punitive damages, but the judges reduced it to $350,000
Johnny Depp's lawyers, Benjamin Chew and Camille Vasquez, released a statement outside the courtroom.
"Today's verdict confirms what we have said from the beginning, that the claims against Johnny Depp are defamatory and unsupported by any evidence." Camille Vasquez said
Vasquez also thanked the Jury, Judge, and court staff, and Benjamin Chew also thanked the Judicial system.
"We were honored, truly honored, to assist Mr. Depp in ensuring that his case was fairly considered throughout the trial." Chew said.
Johnny Depp was not present in court to hear his victory.
"We are also most pleased that the trial has resonated with so many people in the public who value truth and justice," Chew added.
