Eric Clapton had to cancel his two upcoming gigs after he was tested ...
POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
On May 16, Clapton posted on his facebook confirming that he was suffering from covid.
It was also confirmed that Clapton tested positive for covid after his second concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
"He has been told by his medical advisors that if he were to resume traveling and performing too soon, it could substantially delay his full recovery," the Facebook post said.
The Facebook post also said that Clapton needs to postpone his tour to avoid passing any infection to his band and crew.
"it has been decided with great regret and apologies to all those concerned to postpone the performances in Zurich on 17th May and Milan on 18th May,"
The Facebook post added that the new date of his concert tour would be announced soon, and the tickets would remain valid.
