What was the original Waterloo Road about?
The drama, originally broadcast on BBC One and subsequently BBC Three from 2006 to 2015, followed life at schools in Rochdale (for the first seven seasons) and afterward Greenock. It helped launch the careers of Bridgerton actors Rege-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, as well as Adam Thomas from Emmerdale and Jenna Coleman from Doctor Who.
