What is the main plot of ‘High School DxD’?
The main storyline of ‘High School DxD’ revolves around the dark and mysterious students of the Kuoh Academy. The academy has an underlying secret that has not been disclosed to the audience. Gradually, it is revealed that the majority of the students of the academy are actually mythical creatures like monsters, devils, fallen angels, and angels! The main protagonist of this Anime television and web series is as clueless to the wonders of the Kuoh Academy as the viewers are. He is a human teenage boy named Issei Hyodo.
He was very excited about his date with Yuma Amano, a beautiful girl from the Kuoh Academy. Turns out, she was actually an evil fallen angel who kills Issei with her demonic strength. In the nick of time, Rias Gremory, a third year student at the Kuoh Academy, along with being Issei’s senior, comes and saves Issei. Rias was a red-haired, beautiful devil who saves Issei’s life by reincarnating him as a devil, as well. From the longest of times, she had been interested in Issei.
The next morning, Issei wakes up in his room, on his bed. He obviously thought that the events from the previous night was a dream. Everything seemed normal until he realized that he was being cuddled by Rias, who was stark naked and was in a deep slumber. Surprised, Issei wakes her up to ask her what is going on. She quickly explains that she has turned him into a devil to save his life, and in the form of gratitude, Issei is supposed to be loyal to Rias and serve her as his Mistress.
