The Walking Dead season 9 is probably one of the most awaited shows on TV right now. The Walking Dead has a tradition of airing its season premieres every October, and it has been going on for almost a decade. Instead of the usual one when the first episode is released in the middle or near end of October, The Walking Dead season 9 will be aired on October 7, 2018.

The Walking Dead Season 9 will have a total of 16 episodes. However, the first eight episodes will be the part one of the season, with the part two expected to be released early next year. Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie Rhee) will be expected to leave the season after the first part.
