Plot Of Season 1
Jungjin is a fictional city that is the setting for the series. They are a team of four demon-hunters called the Counters who are charged with hunting down and banishing evil spirits. The evil spirits escaped from the afterlife to become immortals. Local human hosts who have committed murder or are inclined to commit murder are possessed by these evil spirits. A partner spirit from Yung, the boundary between the afterlife and the world of the living, possessed the Counters. Additionally, it gave them perfect health, consciousness, and superhuman strength.
Three Counters, Ga Mo-tak (Yoo Jun-sang), Do Ha-na (Kim Se-Jeong), and Choo Mae-ok (Yeom Hye-ran), work at Eonni’s Noodles. Furthermore, one day, Jang Cheol-Joong (Sung Ji-Ru) was killed in a battle with a powerful evil spirit. He struggles to find a new comatose human to possess as his Yung partner Wi-gen (Moon Sook) is devoured by his killer.
