Ubisoft Teases Multiplayer Mode In Future Assassin’s Creed Games

We are only two days away from the official release of one of the most anticipated games of this year, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and recently, its been revealed that Ubisoft is trying to bring back the multiplayer option in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and we could have that feature very soon.

Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer Options:

The multiplayer option debuted on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and fans were able to enjoy the feature in subsequent games like the Assassin’s Creed Revelations and the Assassin’s Creed Blackflag but, after that, Ubisoft has mainly focused on the integral story part and kind of neglected the multiplayer feature. Unity, Syndicate, and Origins mainly focused on the vast story portions, and despite making a pretty good impact, fans are missing the multiplayer option, and hopefully, Ubisoft will bring it back soon.

Recently in an interview with the Game Informer, Serge Hascoet, the chief creative officer of Ubisoft discussed on the multiplayer option of the game. He is pretty much happy with the effort that his team put into the latest project and speaking about the multiplayer option he said that currently, they have a lot of different technologies which goes in-hand with the Assassin’s Creed franchise, the only thing that’s missing is the multiplayer mode and since it’s of high importance in terms of social activity, Ubisoft is looking forward to implementing that into its Assassin’s Creed upcoming games.

Now, he also said that they might not follow the obvious trend right now which is the Battle Royale system. He said that there are as many as 15 companies who are already working on that and out of them only two will achieve success, so they’re not planning to jump into that multiplayer system.

Well, not much of the details were spilled but, they are definitely trying to find a system which can be the next big trend in the near future, and we might have to wait for the next Creed game to hear more about it. For now, you can read the full interview by heading over to the Game Informer.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be officially released on 5th October, and it will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
