The sports drama, Hit the Floor after had a successful fourth season but, still the stats weren’t as good as the third season so, fans are wondering about the future of the series. The series first debuted on 27th May 2013 and so far, four seasons have been made with the first three seasons being available on VH1, and its ongoing fourth season being available on BET. Now, there might be a fifth season but, so far no concrete announcement has been made by the network.

Hit the Floor Season 5 – Update

According to IMDb, the story of the series follows “Ahsha Hayes who enters the wild world of professional basketball when she tries out for the elite L.A. Devil Girls dance team against the wishes of her mother Sloane, a former dancer herself.” Now, according to TVSeriesFinale, Hit the Floor Season 4 had a rating of 0.15 % in 18-49 demographic and it managed to gather a viewership of 383,000. After comparing this with the stats of the previous third season, it was revealed that the stats of the fourth season was “down by 78% and 71%.” Now, this is making many fans to believe that that Hit the Floor Season 5 might not get a green light.

Hit the Floor Season 5: Is it Renewed?

Now, BET has already canceled one of its successful shows, well at least more successful with much higher stats that “Hit the Floor.” The show which got canceled despite high ratings was “The Quad,” so fans are almost sure that Hit the Floor Season 5 might be canceled however we still need to wait for the official announcement.
