Gotham Season 5 Release Date, Details

In this post, we are going to talk about the American crime drama television series Gotham season 5 release date, details. The series is developed by Bruno Heller. Bruno Heller is the executive producer too, along with Danny Cannon who has also directed the pilot.

Gotham Season 5 Air Date, Cast

The show has been in the central eye since it debuted on 22 September 2014. There has been a regular release of each season, which was quite punctual. All the past seasons have been released in the latter half of September of each year, without any miss. But this time, the case is different as the production itself started in July 2018.

It was very obvious that the fifth season would come in September 2018, but it seems impossible now. Predictions by experts suggest that Gotham is nowhere near, and fans might have to wait till 2019 for the fifth season. Camren Bicondova started in an Instagram live session that the fifth season will release in July, but now it seems quite hard and unrealistic. But still, we have a lot to wait for sure.

Gotham Season 5 Updates

The series has been dropping all seasons with 22 episodes, so it can fool anyone that the fifth season might also include the same number of episodes. But do not let that manipulate you, as Camren also stated that the fifth season had been picked up for ten episodes only. Even though the series has only episodes left to achieve 100 episodes mark, but it is not going to happen considering the information provided.

Talking about the plot of the upcoming season, there is nothing to be reduced as the season will mark the total reboot. We know it is weird to have a new plot after four successful seasons, but that is the case right now in Gotham. Although the so-called “reboot” will take place, the characters are going to be the same apart from any new characters being added.
