Code Black Season 4 Canceled
Here’s the copy of the tweet from Michael Seitzman:
Dear #CodeBlack fans, the sad news came today that we were canceled. It’s been a true joy to make this show and watch your response every week. Thank you for all of your passion. Truly, our best episodes have yet to air. We hope you’ll watch and enjoy them. We made them for you. — Michael Seitzman (@michaelseitzman)
We are almost at the end of Code Black season 3, as only two episodes are remaining in the third season of Code Black. Judging by how well the show is doing, Michael wasn’t wrong about the show’s episodes becoming better. Code Black is averaging 5.5 million viewers.
Code Black is an excellent series, and it’s surprising that the series was canceled. Here is the synopsis of the show if you’re interested:
Code Black is a heart-pounding medical drama which takes place in the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients outweighs the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses. Their job is to save the lives of patients and thus ends up creating a condition which is known as Code Black.
At the heart of the ER is Dr. Leanne Rorish, a stop-at-nothing residency director whose job is to save lives in an often-impossible environment. She is in the process of adopting a teenage girl named Ariel, and she is known to the group of residents as “Daddy.” Joining her is Col. Ethan Willis, who focuses now on field medicine, working on an ambulance or chopper with his ride-along partner, Rox Valenzuela, a tough and fearless paramedic.
Both Leanne and Ethan work under—and sometimes against—the iron hand of ER and OR director Dr. Will Campbell, a top-tier surgeon.
