Tokyo Ghoul re keeps on getting even more confusing with each passing episode. That’s not really a surprise now, because we’re already 7 episodes into season 2. I thought the pace might slow down as we move forward, but I was wrong. The anime’s second started as fast-paced, and something that didn’t make a whole lot of sense. That’s been maintained throughout the season, and at least they’re being consistent; consistent at being trash.

Tokyo Ghoul re Episode 19 Spoilers

Tokyo Ghoul re Episode 18 was all about the CCG and Furuta. Furuta has taken control in a weird, yet powerful way. He controls a big organization now, and he aims to destroy every Ghoul that he finds living. The next episode will see a continuation of that, and Furuta will definitely be involved.

However, mainly, the next episode is going to be all about Kaneki and Touka and their relationship. They’ve had their ups and downs, and they’ve been together and apart. Now, they’ll be together from here onwards; at least they’ll vow to do so. That’s right, they’re getting married. Before they do get married, they have sex, which I’m pretty sure will be censored in the anime, and that’s also understandable. Meanwhile, we will see the CCG continue making moves.

They’ll destroy every Ghoul they can get their hands on. The Goat Extermination Operation has begun, and they don’t intend to slow down at all. I hope against hope that the series slows down the pacing for at least the last few episodes. But, I’m pretty sure that it’ll get even worse if anything.
