Tokyo Ghoul re Season 2 Episode 3 Preview, Summary, Release Date

Tokyo Ghoul re Season 2 Episode 3 is airing tonight, and in this post, we’ll be letting you in on all the events that’ll take place today. Last week, we got an interesting episode that showed us the majority of the fight between Kaneki Ken, and Arima. First of all, my respects to Haise. He is no more. Kaneki was still Haise as the Black Reaper in the CCG, but now he’ll officially have defected from the CCG.

The surprising thing here is that Arima actually wanted Kaneki to kill him. He took in Kaneki to raise him into the next One-Eyed King. When I say next, I mean Arima was the former One-Eyed King himself. Eto and Arima had always been working together to raise someone who would do the unprecedented, and unite the Ghouls and the humans. That job has passed down to Kaneki now. In the upcoming episode, Kaneki takes on the identity of the One-Eyed King when he meets Eto.

Tokyo Ghoul re Season 2 Episode 3 Summary

Eto herself is dying at the hands of Furuta. Remember, last week, Eto was taken by surprise when Furuta revealed Rize’s Kagune to her. He was able to deal with her, and from here on out, her fate will remain unknown. When she meets Kaneki, she tells him to proclaim himself as the killer of Arima Kishou, and then become the One-Eyed King. Meanwhile, at the Headquarters of the Aogiri, the White Coats are in a huge fight as well.
Takizawa fights against Tatara and absolutely destroys him in battle. Tatara ends up dying, and then Takizawa turns his attention to Akira Mado. Thankfully, Amon is there to stop her. Toru Mutsuki will also be involved in this episode, and it seems Torso hasn’t given up on her yet. He has targeted her, and right now, saving her is pretty hard. Finally, we may also be seeing Juuzou in this episode, wearing his Arata and fighting, wish I hope will be fun to see. Here’s a preview of the next episode:
