There is an old saying which goes, ” Villains are the deciding factor of any show” and Naruto just followed this single phrase throughout its run time. The show presents some of the classy villains that might make you fall your heart. Well, the term ‘ Villain’ will be unfair to use as each character in the show tried to bring certain changes to the world. Some chose the way with lots of massacres and destruction, but their ultimate goal was to bring Peace. The one such character in the series is Tobi, aka Obito. This character has been through a lot of heartbreaks, but in the end, he became the most unforgettable character in the series. In this article, we are gonna shed some light on his mysterious side. Let’s tighten your seatbelts.
Naruto and Naruto Shippuden is a Japanese manga-based anime written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The story revolves around a boy Naruto Uzumaki whose parents died when he was just a toddler. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, he used to get alienated by the whole village, and villagers considered him as a threat to the whole village. Despite getting loads of hate, he aimed to become the Hokage of the village. His ambition was like a mountain, but he kept climbing it, and ultimately he secured the summit. He became the Seventh Hokage of the Leaf and won a crazy battle against his own fate.
Here is some mysterious side of Tobi, aka Obito Uchiha.
When we first saw Obito, we saw him in the verse of Tobi. He was the goofy guy who assists Deidara in his missions, but we were completely unaware of his true identity. The real reason behind his goofiness is, He was struck in the body of White Zetsu. All the talks and activities were done by the White Zetsu on behalf of Obito. When White Zetsu freed him, we saw the real glimpse of Obito.
2. Obito Wanted Kakashi To Become The Hokage In The End
The death of Obito was satisfying, and it seems he achieved his ultimate goal. He comes on the right track after shaking hands with Naruto. We saw the unification of Kakashi and Obito again, and he finally achieved the wish of Rin. When he was on his last breath, he told Kakashi to become Hokage on his behalf of him. He also told Naruto to keep walking on his Nindo(ninja way). He saw himself in Naruto and a broken dream which he couldn’t fulfill.
3. Obito Grew In The Care Of His Grandmother
Just like Naruto, Obito grew without his parents. His only relative was his grandmother. In the manga, it is shown that he lives on his own, but in anime, Creators confirmed that he was taken care by his grandmother. She appeared in one of a filler of Naruto Shippuden. She wanted Obito to achieve everything which he dream of. No one knew the darkness is going to hold him.
4. Obito Didn’t Get Blind By Using His Mangekyou Sharingan
We have seen in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden that those who use Mangekyou Sharingan over the limit can end up getting blinded, and we also saw this happen with Kakashi as well as Itachi. They start getting blood from their eye, but Obito used his Sharingan multiple times without any difficulty. The creators didn’t give a clear answer to this question, but we can assume that this happened by the healing capability of White Zetsu.
5. Obito Hardly Survived The Amaterasu
Itachi implanted the Amaterasu in the eyes of Sasuke so he could kill Obito if he ever approaches him. When Obito appears before the Sasuke, His eye emitted the implanted Amaterasu however, Obito barely survived that by transferring it to another dimension. That attack might even kill him. However, Sasuke didn’t know about this till the end of the series.
6. Tobi Was The Kishimoto’s Favorite Character To Draw
Back in the days when we were completely aware of Obito and knew him by the name Tobi. Kishimoto also agreed that he used to love drawing Tobi. His child-like attitude, Goofy personality is so simple and entertaining to draw for him. But things changed, and the character of Tobi got complex. Till the end, Obito remained his most favorite character.
