Episode 8 of Titans Season 3 was released on 16th September 2021 on HBO Max streaming service exclusively. The episode started off with Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon who are now a couple again after them expressing feelings for each other in Episode 7. They were on the phone as Grayson was almost ready to leave the house and pick her up for a Gala.
However, he is interrupted when a boy named Tim Drake arrives at Wayne Manor and asks to meet him. Tim shows him his collections of paper cuttings and his theory about how he figured out that Grayson was the first Robin and now Nightwing. He also told that Bruce Wayne is Batman and he had a theory that Jason Todd was the second Robin. Tim further gave some information about Jason that he saw Jason near his shop on the night of several killings.

Furthermore, he said that he wants to be the next Robin but Grayson kept refusing his theory. However, from Tim’s information and Barbara’s help he figured out the recent whereabouts of Jason. He even saw him on the other side of the road and tried to chase him. Unfortunately, he was hit by a truck and fell unconscious. But what was surprising was that Jason stood over him and anonymously called 911 to help Grayson get to the hospital.

Why Did Jason Help Grayson In Episode 8? Is Jason Coming Back To His Senses?
Grayson learned that Jason had helped him when he could easily have killed him. On the other hand, Gar was getting help from Molly to help Jason and bring him home. But is Jason finally sober? It seems like Jason has come to his senses when he hit Crane after realizing that he had been using him. He even realized his mistake that he killed Hank who was like family to him. Therefore, he decided to respond to Molly’s text and set up a meet-up with Grayson alone. Meanwhile, we also saw Blackfire and Conner aka Superboy getting intimate with each other. Moreover, they helped Corry together when she started having strange visions again.
Grayson agreed to meet Jason and went into their secret tunnel. Jason confessed his feelings to Grayson that he had done terrible things, feels bad for it, and wants to come back home. Grayson feels Jason is saying the truth and gives him a chance. However, he puts a condition that Jason will have to surrender Crane first. Jason agrees and goes to bring in Crane but he does not know that Crane had listened to their conversation in the tunnel.

Things get ugly when Tim follows Jason and gets shot by Crane. Jason tries to help him but gets scared when he sees Titans coming and runs away. Meanwhile, Grayson tries to stop Tim’s bleeding but he suddenly has a vision of himself shot on the floor in the Robin suit. Gar then steps in to stop Tim’s bleeding whereas Nightwing and Starfire go after Crane. Crane is hiding but takes a risk by making a move in front of Starfire. His plan succeeds when Starfire blows up the floor with her attack and a harmful chemical gets mixed into Gotham City’s main water supply. Jason also gets involved in this as they think that he and Crane set them up.
