The Voice Season 21 Episode 19 Recap
Previously on The Voice Season 21, we opened up Carson Daly, noticing that Ariana Grande fans are roaring the auditorium. Until Blake Shelton took the stage, asking his fans to roar louder. Coming to competition, it’s Top 11 rounds, and this time fans will be selecting songs for their favorite contestants. Team Blake’s Wendy Moten opened the show with a little advice from Grammy award-winning Vince Gill. It was her birthday, and she blew the roof off with a party song like “Freeway of Love” by Aretha Franklin.
Next up, Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom encouraged themselves by crossing the boundaries. They went all out of the country to perform “More Hearts Than Mine” by Ingrid Andress. Next up, the fans pitched Team Ariana’s Holly Forbes to pick up the rock song “Alone” by Heart, and she added a little soul inside it. Team Legend’s Jershika Maple receives “How Can I Ease the Pain” by Lisa Fischer, which is quite heavy, and she needed to make the right use of her range.

Team Blake’s Lana Scott took the stage next to perform “I Hope” by Gabby Barrett. The only country singer is doing a modern country song. After all, if she wants to make it today, she needs to be on time. Blake Shelton believes a lot in her. Joshua Vacanti from Team Legend performed “The Show Must Go On” by Queen. He brought the inner Freddy Mercury out to have all the judges on their feet.
Jeremy Rosado from Team Kelly was next up with “Reckless Love” by Cory Asbury. From fans’ choice of song, it seems like they are already following what Jeremy dreams off. Team Kelly continued their presence with Gymani, who is working hard after the instant saves and went on to perform “Diamonds” by Rihanna.
Meanwhile, Jim & Sasha Allen from Team Ariana found themselves in their own genre performing “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. The episode closed with Paris Winningham of Team Blake giving some modern touch to “Use Me” by Bill Withers and Hailey Mia bringing a stripped-down version of “Elastic Heart” by Sia.
