Lucky enough, the anime is getting renewed for The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2. The story takes the most beautiful turn in an Isekai by introducing fluffy shoujo vibes to it. Season 1 was built with elements of suspense and romance leading up to the evolution of Sei, the protagonist. While the first season did end with great satisfaction, fans look forward to the renewal of the anime to witness Sei grow as a character with all the other characters.
The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent is based on a light novel by the same name. It was launched in 2017 and published by Fujimi Shobo under its Kadokawa Books imprint. The light novel was written by Yuka Tachibana and illustrated by Yasuyuki Syuri. Later, it was translated to English and published by Seven Seas Entertainment. The novel is currently ongoing and has been compiled into eight complete volumes at the time of writing. Season 1 adapted the initial volumes. With much more material left to be animated, the announcement of The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2 did not come off as a huge surprise.

The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2: Plot
Towards the end of season 1, Sei impresses everyone with all the skills she had been mastering in the past episode. Her powers come especially handy during Granny Corinna’s training. She is also noticed by Lady Saint. With her ‘Area Heal,’ she manages to save several allies and defeat monsters. The monsters get exterminated, and we get to see the evolution of Sei that has been pointed out several times in the series. She has truly grown strong since. Klausner’s forest has returned to its original form, thanks to Sei, but it seems like there will be bigger threats coming her way in season 2. How she uses her grown powers in the next season is definitely something we are interested to know.
Other than showing her strong powers, we also see a love story bidding between her and Hawke. The first season ended without any official conclusion of the two. Although the two get very flustered when with each other, they haven’t yet accepted their feelings. This makes us all the more curious about The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2 to see how their romance will end.
With so many unanswered questions, we are excited to know when the next season of the shoujo Isekai will air.
The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent Season 2 Announced
As of March 9, 2022, the second season of The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent has been announced. No release date has been confirmed. However, we expect the anime to return at least by the Fall of 2022 or Winter 2023. More information about the anime will be addressed at a later date. In commemoration of the new season, a visual teaser of the anime was also updated.
Cast
All the recurring casts of the first season of The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent will resume their roles for the next season. This includes Yui Ishikawa as Sei Takanashi, Takahiro Sakurai as Albert Hawke, Takuya Eguchi as Johan Valdec, Yūsuke Kobayashi as Yuri Dreves, and Taku Yashiro as Jude. No new characters have been introduced yet.
Staff
Several staff members from season 1 are resuming their roles for the production of season 2. The animation production of the anime will be fine by Diomedéa. Shouta Ibata is directing the series as Wataru Watari writes the scripts for the anime.
About The Saint’s Magic Power Is Omnipotent
An office worker, Sei, gets teleported into the fantasy land of Salutania under mysterious circumstances. She is summoned as a saint along with another girl. However, the rude prince takes no notice of her and accepts the other girl as the Saint. Having no way to return, Sei makes her own way in the new world as a researcher at the Medicinal Flora Research Institute. She studies healing magic, and not long after, her unmatched skills become well known through the lands, and her ordinary life soon comes to an end, and her life as the true Saint begins.
