The cast of the hit historical drama, The Red Sleeve, will reunite again for a fun evening. It was recently reported that all the cast members of The Red Sleeve would attend a Lunar New Year special talk show. The drama concluded on 1 January, but its fandom is still active and alive on social media. The news of the latest gathering of The Red Sleeve cast is spreading like fire. MBC has shared further details on the upcoming special in an official statement.

Lee Junho, Lee Se Young, and all the other prominent cast members will join the Lunar New year special talk show. Moreover, the eldest cast member, Lee Deok Hwa, will also attend the evening.

The Red Sleeve premiered on 12 November 2021 and immediately earned thousands of viewers. The drama became one of the best during its broadcasting period, with the top-most viewership ratings every week. The immense love from the audience has also helped show breaking several records.

The Red Sleeve Kdrama Cast To Reunite For Special Talk Show

On 15 January 2022, MBC made an official statement stating that the entire The Red Sleeve cast will appear on a Lunar New Year special talk show. The cast will share their best moment from the drama and discuss a variety of things with the fans on the show.

The network also shared that Singer Jang Yoon Jung and her husband, former announcer Do Kyung Wan,  and Hwang Kwanghee will serve as the MCs for the event. The filming [for the event] will happen on 20 January. Meanwhile, the particular talk show episode will be broadcast over the Lunar New Year holiday. However, the specific date for the premiere is not set yet.

The Red Sleeve follows the life of a troubled Prince, Yi San (Junho), who loves perfection. His romance with the independence-loving Sung Deok Im (SeYoung) will help the two get the ultimate goals of their lives. The historical drama comes from Jung Ji In, who previously directed “Victory For Tomorrow.” On the other hand, Jung Hae Ri of “The Emperor” has written the script.
