After the nightmare in the Goldy Pond, Emma and the rest of the cattle children were once again happy and free under the shelter. Ray decided that they will need to complete five missions in two years before its too late. One of those missions is to contact the other allies. Will they succeed in contacting other humans? A new threat lurks in the shadows in The Promised Neverland chapter 98.
With the help of Ray, the contents of the microchip that they found on Goldy Pond were analyzed. The team came up with five objectives that they needed to achieve in the next two years. One thing that they can do right now is to follow the instruction on how to contact their allies. It is not mentioned if these allies were living on the same part of the word as them or not. However, this is the only thing that they can do right now.
The Promised Neverland Chapter 98 – Contacting Allies
It is also worthy to note about the Lambda Plantation project, which seems to be of higher status than the Grace Field. Will they find out that Norman is alive? Sure, Adam can tell them. However, Adam is such a complicated character that it would be hard for them to talk to him.
Peter Ratri And His Next Plans
There is no doubt that the children can figure out how to contact other allies whether inside or outside the demon world; this might be the start of the “Contacting Allies Arc” (this is a self-made name) where they need to find another place similar to the previous coordinates using the pen. There’s bad news, however, as Peter Ratri (the one who betrayed Minerva) will be more aggressive in finding them.
This guy knows the existence of the Goldy Pond and the existence of the elevator. He might also know the existence of other coordinates that Minerva used to construct other infrastructures. The worst-case scenario that Emma and the rest of the gang can experience is if they’ll be trapped in the next location indicated by the pen. We might end this arc again with another grand escape.
