The Promised Neverland is moving at full throttle towards the end of the series. Each chapter of the series oozes quality and one can only wonder how the mangaka will make the next chapter better than the previous. Before we begin, I would like to warn you that this post is full of spoilers and if you don’t like spoilers then it is advised that you stop reading right now. With that out of the way, let’s begin.
In the previous chapter, we saw Norman revealing the true nature of the demons. It was shocking to find out that the demons were like bacteria and they modified their shape and their genes merged with the animal that they consumed. Slowly they began to consume humans and they gained more intelligence. Then in order to keep ahold of their new forms and their intelligence, they began the farming system.
Norman also revealed that the demons experimenting on the children at Lambda. Hayato, Jin, Adam, etcetera. were also experimented upon. Finally, Norman also spoke about his plan to end the demon society. He said that he was planning to exterminate all the demons in order to create an environment for the children to grow up without having the fear of being eaten.
Moving on to the next chapter. In the next chapter, we will see Emma and Ray giving their thoughts on Norman’s plan. In my opinion, they shouldn’t really oppose Norman’s plan. However, I do think that Emma might be against the idea of an allout war against the demons because she wouldn’t want to place any more of her family members in danger.
The chapter will be officially released on February 4, 2019.
