The Promised Neverland Anime Trailer Released

For “The Promised Neverland” fans out there, waiting for the animated version of the manga is such a pain in the neck. We will have to wait two more months to finally see out favorite characters and favorite scenes animated. Recently, The Promised Neverland anime trailer was revealed, but it didn’t really show any animated scenes yet. What can we expect from the anime and will it do well or disappoint the series’ fans?

The Promised Neverland Anime Trailer Featured Emma’s Iconic Scream

The Promised Neverland anime trailer was released by Aniplex and features the mugshots of all the involved characters in the Escape Arc of the manga. There is still no animated scenes showed and we only got a glimpse of Emma’s scream when she !*spoiler ahead*! found out that she and the other children are all just meat meant to be eaten by the monsters !*end of spoilers*!. The team recently released the character designs for Isabella, Don, and Gilda. It is expected that the anime will cover the whole Escape Arc. The Escape Arc is the first (and considered to be the best arc for most of the fans) so far in the manga. Hopefully, we will see the events unfold in a well-animated matter, especially the children’s encounter with Krone.

The Promised Neverland anime is expected to premiere in January 2019 and will air on Fuji TV. CloverWorks studio, which currently animates Fairy Tail 2018 and Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai. Emma will be voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Nina Tucker from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood), Mariya Ise will be voicing Ray (Killua Zoldyck from Hunter X Hunter), and Maaya Uchida (Yuki Yoshino from Food Wars!) will voice Norman. The manga is currently in its final arc according to Kaiu Shirai in one of his comments from Weekly Shonen Jump.
