The Neighborhood Season 4 Episode 6 may be a horror special coming for Johnsons and Butlers. At least that’s what the title suggests so far. Well, before we move to the same, recently on the show, things have been quite up in the air. Suraya had invited the families of Butlers and Johnsons to her son’s wedding. They enjoyed it like anything and thought it was something to remember. On top of that, Butlers were pretty impressed with how Suraya managed to find the perfect bride for her son.
Here is where Suraya decided to break it to Butlers by stating that she has done the same for her every son. On top of that, she will help their sons find a perfect girl for themselves. All of this is in exchange for the fact they fixed their transmission. Thus the mission of finding the boys began. While one backed out, the other stayed in. Only for him as well as Suraya to realize that they dug a grave for themselves. Tina and Dave went battling to introduce their sons to girls for their liking, which didn’t end well for anyone here. So here is a look at what happened.
The Neighborhood S04 E05 Recap
Previously on The Neighborhood, we opened up with Suraya offering laddoos to Calvin, Tina, and Dave. All of this for coming to her son’s wedding. Calvin and Tina acknowledged her matchmaking skills. So Suraya offered them the same by finding the perfect girl for their sons. So the Suraya, Tina, and Gemma lured Marty and Malcolm to meet her. Malcolm backed out once, finding what this was all about, but Marty was pretty much in for this. Why? Well, he didn’t want to be single in his early 20s, and he needed a date for his high-school reunion. Meanwhile, Dave and Gemma were struggling to find time for each other amidst taking care of Grover.
Suraya later brought all the files she had on girls that could be perfect for Marty. She wanted to guide the family, but Calvin and Tina got lost looking for the girl they thought was good for Marty. Thus ignoring her leads Suraya to quit and walk out. As this went on, Dave and Gemma planned for a date after a long time in a while, only for the babysitter to say no for the night, thus leaving them to stay.

Calvin and Tina had a hard time trying to convey to Marty that Suraya had quit. Especially when he found out online about how successful of a matchmaker she is. Calvin comforts a broken-hearted Marty. So to help him, the Butlers organize a party to help Marty find a girl for himself. Dave and Gemma find themselves on a date while shopping as Dave opts to a role play.
The episode comes to a close, with Marty realizing none of the girls fit for him. Why? Well, his parents introduced him to the ones that were perfect for them. Not the one that is perfect for him. Anyway, he believes he wants the love his parents have. So instead of rushing in, he will wait around for that perfect girl. On the other side, Malcolm found one for himself at the party. Lastly, Gemma and Dave’s attempt to find time for each other fails again as Grover interrupts them again. So they move to shop again to have another role play to close the show.
