The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 6 sees a new cast member joining TMS. Will Alex push to know more about what’s inside Maggie Brener’s new book? Because from the cover, it seems to destroy her and Mitch. Lastly, how far will Cory go to save Hannah Shoenfeld’s name in the battle against Fred? Recently on the show, after a lot of pleading and warnings of someone else taking over, Alex agreed to Presidential Debate. After all, Stella thought she was the face that best represents America. But, along came some people she doesn’t want to tag along with.
As tensed as she can be, Alex went into Presidential Debate with the news of Maggie Brener’s book hovering over her. On top of that, people she doesn’t like, for example, Laura and then Audra, who actually came telling her about it, came into play. We later also found out why Laura doesn’t like Alex much. Apart from this, Corey decided to go out of his way to approach Hannah Shoenfeld’s father to save Hannah’s name. Also, Mitch decided to come clean on the same matter to Paolo as she interviewed him. Here is a look at everything.
The Morning Show S02 E05 Recap
Previously on The Morning Show Season 2, we opened up with Cory trying to talk it out with Fred about the Hannah Shoenfeld story going around. He even talks to Bradley about it. Alex, on the other hand, is preparing for the coming Presidential Debate she will be hosting. On top of that, Audra gives Alex a surprise visit only to tell her about Maggie Brener’s book launch. Now, this concerns Alex about what she would have written about her in it. Also all the Mitch controversy from the last year.
Maggie Brener’s book news comes like havoc for Alex, who couldn’t focus on work anymore. Amidst this, only Chip was by her side. Cory, on the other side, is preparing to leave for Green Bay to meet Hanah Shoenfeld’s father. Kyle’s helping and also lets him know about Bradley dating Laura, who is gossip at this point. Alex leaves for debate, but Laura’s presence around them hanging out with Bradley concerns her more. This only tops Alex’s nervousness more. She says Laura doesn’t like her, never did.
Cory met Hannah’s father and tried to convince him to take the settlement money. Plus, the rumors that will come in public about Hannah if this case goes ahead. This doesn’t work, though. Alex’s debate couldn’t go any wrong as she sees Maggie in the same place. As all of this went on, we had hints of Coronavirus coming and also how racism comes into play. Stella is accused by a racist passer-by outside the building. She ignores him and leaves, but Yanko picks up a fight with that racist to put him down.
The Presidential Debate goes well. Thanks to Chip being there for Alex. Only until she finds out that he talked to Maggie Brenner too, she wants to be alone by then. Laura explains to Bradley why she doesn’t like Alex and why Alex is intimidated by her. It had to do with the time when she was anchoring at YDA. Alex had befriended her friends and soon found out Laura was a lesbian. She was okay until Your Day, America was next to find out about it. Since then, Alex has ignored her, and Laura won’t forget that.
The episode closed with Corey taking advice from Bradley about the Hannah Shoenfeld case. Should he continue to save Hannah Shonelfeld’s name from the story? She suggests he should. Alex confronts Maggie head-on and finds out about her book, “The Wrong Side Of The Bed” featuring her and Mitch on the cover. Apart from this, Paola interviewed Mitch on everything that went down with Hannah in the past.
The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 6 Release Date & Spoilers
The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 6 is releasing on 22 October 2021. It is titled “A Private Person”. Lastly, the question remains if Cory is ready to have his career at stake in order to save Hannah Shoenfeld’s name from going into dust. All in The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 6.
