The Lucky One Filming Locations
‘The Lucky One’ was mainly filmed in Louisiana. The remaining shooting took place in Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, and Nevada. Most of the part of ‘The Lucky One’ is from the different parts of Louisiana. The area where the filming took place is Houmas House and Gardens. It falls between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The famous area also operated as a photo booth at the garden party. It is situated at 40136 LA-942, Darrow, the farm look-alikes just like Clayton Estate in the movie. The place is from the 1840s. It has a Greek reserve just outside the garden that includes lodges and fine restaurants.
Logan’s house is the home place of Camp Salmen Nature Park. It is at 35122 Parish Parkway in Slidell. The parkway is a wooded park with a playground and walkways. An incident took place in a French-Creole area situated in the park. The film possesses St. Joseph Benedictine Abbey, a Benedictine abbey. Ben’s small treehouse was near the pool that surrounded the abbey.
Different scenes are from the famous Madisonville. Areas that include church scenes are from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Creedmoor Plantation, Bayou Road in St Bernard, and Port Eads Lighthouse are also noticeable places in the movie. A few filming locations were set in New Orleans. It is near the Mississippi River and is chosen for its wholesome nightlife and spicy food. As a result, a lot of shooting takes place in Lousiana.
The movie’s distributor Warner Bros. began the movement from North Carolina to Louisiana. This is because they want to cash in on Louisiana’s moviemaking tax incentives. Director Scott Hicks said that Nicholas Sparks was completely accepting of the shift except talking about the mental exercise that went into taking the story to suit the Louisiana context.
Plot
The main actor, Logan (Zac Efron), is a fascinating actor who is genuine onscreen. If he becomes successful in winning the heart of a woman, he has the elegance to seem a bit surprised. The woman in Louisiana is Beth (Taylor Schilling), who apparently looks like the landlord and operator of a first-rate dog kennel in a scenic rural setting. Beth is seemingly perfect, but she made a huge mistake when she married the co-actor, Keith Clayton (Jay R. Ferguson). He was a regional deputy sheriff who’s an unbearable bully with an inferiority war.
The moment he sees Logan hanging close to his ex-wife, he starts to threaten her custody of their son. The journey that gets Logan to the dog kennel in the woods is one joyful chance behind another. But, Beth is wondering if he’s a stalker. Not every guy is tracking down one person who is out of the total population without being a little compulsive. He was the Marine who was holding her photo.
Logan doesn’t have to respond to such questions. Beth presumes that he was their response to a poster. He never gets around to describing her mistake. Ellie the nana is by Blythe Danner as a reminder of what a positive, common-sense presence a person can be. “The Lucky One” is at its heart a romantic novel. However, Nicholas Sparks’ persuasive storytelling is a plus. You can easily guess how many ways this story would likely go wrong in real life.
