The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 5 sees the downfall of Cassie and comes to reveal a big secret about her sobriety. Since the very first time Cassie saw a doppelganger of hers wreaking havoc in Berlin, she has been trying to solve this mess on her own. Rather than relying on the CIA. But recently, on the show, after the death of two CIA analysts and two people invading her house, Cassie came to realize that she was dealing with something far more dangerous.

Cassie walked up to the CIA Office to meet Benjamin, but he himself was broken down after losing his two people. Cassie felt the state he was in, which resulted in them sleeping together. But the moment Cassie woke up the next day, she came to find out that the CIA might not be the right place to come to after all. So here is what went down.

She decided to lie her way out to complete a year after moving to L.A. Amidst all of this, Max and Anne located Esteban and Gabrielle’s house to retrieve the Viewmaster 3D and their stuff, while Megan retrieved her locker with the help of Cherry.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 5 Review

As The Flight Attendant Season 2 began its one episode per week schedule, the fifth episode that starts it all doesn’t live up to the tension that was built in previous episodes. Since the very beginning of the season, the show has thrown mysteries after mysteries at Cassie. Although they haven’t got any big developments so far, they were still fun to follow.

Our Thoughts On The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 5
From The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 5 Featuring Cassie

But Episode 5 over here kills all the fun of tension that The Flight Attendant Season 2 built. The fifth episode is an easily skippable one as it sees the downfall of Cassie. Plus how she manages to destroy her own life. The only big reveal for this episode would be the fact that she lied about being sober for a year.

Apart from Cassie destroying herself, the episode could have been more fun if Max and Anne’s arc or Megan’s arc had gotten more screen time. Max and Anne have turned out to be fun add-ons helping Cassie with the CIA stuff. Their adventure at Esteban and Gabrielle’s could have been more fun rather than being a quick retrieval mission.
